Efecto de la Ley corporativa y la concentración de la propiedad en el desempeño empresarial en Chile y México

Resumen

Este trabajo cuestiona los efectos inmediatos de las nuevas legislaciones en Gobierno corporativo sobre el desempeño de las empresas del sector industrial, listadas en Chile y en México. Se concluye que estos no son significativos (por país), aunque el impacto empresarial positivo en Chile supera al de México (entre países). Además, se estudia la conveniencia de la concentración de la propiedad en Chile y México. Se encuentra, para ambos países, una correspondencia negativa (y estable pre-post legislación) entre la dispersión de la propiedad y el RSA de firmas situadas dentro del sector industrial.
