Pre-Submission Checklist

  1. The manuscript is original and unpublished and has not been previously published in any other formal academic venue.
  2. The manuscript is not simultaneously submitted to another journal, publisher, conference, or other scientific publication venue.
  3. The results, analyses, data, arguments, and conclusions are the intellectual responsibility of the authors.
  4. All authors are aware of and approve the submitted version, the authorship order, and the information registered in the submission metadata.
  5. The manuscript aligns with the focus and thematic scope of Ensayos Revista de Economía.
  6. The file has been anonymized and does not contain names, affiliations, identifiable acknowledgments, or metadata that could identify the authors.
  7. The manuscript complies with the Author Guidelines, including format, length, structure, tables, figures, equations, citations, and references.
  8. The title, abstract, keywords, and JEL codes are presented in Spanish and English, in accordance with the journal's instructions.
  9. Citations and references correspond: every cited work appears in the reference list, and every included reference is cited in the text.
  10. The manuscript includes the mandatory declarations regarding conflict of interest, funding, data availability, and use of generative artificial intelligence, when applicable.
  11. The authors have the necessary permissions to use tables, figures, images, databases, instruments, or other third-party materials.
  12. The research complies with applicable ethical principles, especially when it involves human subjects, sensitive data, institutional information, or restricted databases.
