Ensayos Revista de Economía implements digital preservation mechanisms to guarantee the permanent access, integrity, and availability of published scientific content.

The journal participates in the LOCKSS and CLOCKSS digital preservation networks, which enable distributed and long-term preservation of published content.

As a complementary preservation mechanism, the journal's content is part of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León's Digital Archive and is subject to periodic server-managed backups.
